The Business Tax Compliance team consists of 6 Business Tax Compliance professionals and there is a fantastic opportunity to join the team.
As a (Junior) Business Tax Compliance Consultant you have a challenging position within the tax practice. This position is interesting and challenging for someone who is strong in numbers and has the ambition to further develop and grow in the organization. As a corporate tax specialist, you can offer clients exceptional service. Contact with clients is an important part of your work and you’ll also work closely with your colleagues from Business Tax Advisory and International Tax Services, as well as colleagues from other departments at home and abroad.
In this position you draw up income tax and corporate income tax returns, with an emphasis on international corporate income tax returns, and you are responsible for all compliance activities around it. In addition, you are engaged in consultancy work, communicating with the client and the wider tax team.
As the crucial link between the client and the tax authorities you know everything about the current situation and future developments of your clients. Active participation in technical meetings will help you with this.
Skills and qualities for success:
You have experience in drafting (international) corporate income tax returns;
You have an appetite for coordinating declarations and working as a team;
You enjoy building and maintaining relationships with different clients.
A completed WO or HBO study program, preferably fiscal law or fiscal economics;
1-3 years of relevant work experience;
Excellent command of Dutch and English language orally and in writing;
Knowledge of common computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel and declaration software.
An enterprising and proactive attitude;
Excellent social skills and a flexible and collegial attitude.
Your knowledge of all facets related to corporation tax returns is crucial in fulfilling this role. You communicatively competent and professional. You are also eager to learn and are interested in new developments within the profession.
